In high school, I attended a specialized school. Our educational system had two blocks: a specialized block and a general one. The specialized block had nine classes, while the general stream had six. Specialized blocks always took precedence over general ones. Likewise, in the specialized block, Math class is always given the highest priority.
For example, my school had a fund for extracurricular activity organizations. However, camping was only for grade 12 and the specialized block. If 10th and 11th graders in the general block wish to camp, they will be responsible for all expenditures. This already distinguishes them. My class has always prioritized selecting the location for tent setup first. In addition, I believed that if we had any notions regarding how we wish to organize activities, they are nearly unanimous. As for students in other classes, getting the school's consent will be difficult.
There was an amusing tale concerns the replacement of tables and chairs at my school. At that time, we had to transport the old tables and chairs from a particular classroom to the warehouse, then transport the new tables and chairs from the warehouse back to that classroom, where they were then arranged. This was hard work and divided between classes. My class was consistently entrusted with rearranging tables and chairs in the classroom closest to the warehouse. All classes had fewer than forty students, but my class was two-thirds male, while the other classes, such as Literature and English, had only a few males. Other classes must also transport heavy loads to the second and third floors. My male classmates rushed to assist them, but their true intention was to meet other girls.
The other class members then reflected on the person in command, but she replied, "You only do it once in your lifetime; our school only replaces tables and chairs every few years." and "You just had poor luck. Only one day to do this kind of task is acceptable”. She also stated that she would make up for them, but she had done nothing, and my class continued to be prioritized as usual.
One day, I went to eat snails with some close friends I know from English class . According to my friends, on the day we carried the tables and chairs, my male classmates were so gallant as they went to help the English and Literature class friends. However, upon reflection, they concluded that the teacher in charge should have divided the work with more justice. They believed that our Math class had a greater proportion of males than other classes. Yet we transported the furniture over shorter distances, allowing our classmates to demonstrate their valor in front of them. If our class had to transport that furniture to the third floor, we would be too exhausted to be gallant to others.
Although everyone complained, the progressive prioritization of our Math class had become a matter of course in their minds. So these complaints only appeared at a specific time and then stopped.
